We volunteered for the Dirty Weekend project by Thames21 which involved us dressing up as ex-convicts.
It was a lot of fun cleaning up our local canal which stretches along the length of the borough that we live in. It was a step towards getting YouthReach known in the local community, and even though I was in the lead a bit with my coconuts which I found in the river in the end
DJ won with the tire he found for the "biggest piece of rubbish" comp.
Rachel came down for the weekend from Ireland which was a ton of fun, got to reminisce on the foolish days of Spain.
We met the canal boat guys who were great, they took us down the river and dropped us home.
